About Curriculum

The four-year academic program at Alard University lays emphasis on computer programming, digital and analogy electronics, networking and telecommunications, design and project works, etc. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in every area of computer science and engineering, integrating classroom-based teachings with practical training and internship programs. It equips students with vast knowledge related to Calculus, Algorithms, Computer Architecture, Database Learning, and more. Four well equipped laboratories with latest configuration desktop computers and Internet.

  1. Programming Laboratory

The Programming Laboratory is equipped with latest configuration computer terminals with Internet connection, chairs, white board and good quality furniture. Programming lab is exclusive for the software programs. It has softwares like Ubuntu OS, Java, gcc, Python. The lab is used for the course subjects like Programming and Problem Solving (Python), Object Oriented Programming (C++) etc. The Laboratory area is 68.57 Sq. Mt.

  1. Network Laboratory

The Network laboratory is equipped with a high end configuration desktop computers and interconnecting devices, Internet connection, chairs, white board and good quality furniture. All machines are configured with latest networking software packages and network simulators. The lab is used for course subjects like Computer Networks, Information and Network Security. The area of Network Laboratory is 70.70 Sq. Mt.

  1. Operating System Laboratory

The Operating System Laboratory is equipped with computer terminals with Internet connection, chairs, white board and good quality furniture. It has softwares like Windows OS, Java, Python. OS Laboratory area is 68.18 Sq. Mt.

  1. Database Management System Laboratory

This lab is equipped with latest configuration computer terminals with Internet connection, chairs, white board and good quality furniture. It is utilized for students to work on courses such as Database Management Systems, Distributed Data Computing, Hadoop, Data Warehousing and Mining, and Big Data Analysis. DBMS Laboratory area is 66 Sq. Mt.

Short Brief About the Program

The B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering program offered by Alard University is one of the best four-year full-time courses for quality education and overall growth of the students. The program emphasises on applying mathematics and principles of computing to solve engineering problems.   • Well equipped state–of-the-art laboratories with total investment of INR 1 crore.
  • Active Entrepreneur Development cell to develop employer skills among students. During vacations, students go for industry training and enhance their knowledge in various fields.
  • Provision of semester-long internship with 24 credits for final year students, besides summer/winter vacation internships and project stages from semester 1.

Eligibility

  • Students passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotech/ Biology/ Technical vocational subjects.
  • Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above-mentioned subjects.
  • Passed diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category).
  • Students with good scores in MH-CET, JEE or any other equivalent competitive exams, or Alard University Entrance Test.
  • Students passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotech/ Biology/ Technical vocational subjects.
